The health care pathway at Washington Business Week (WBW) is one of the most popular and fills up rapidly. So high school students interested in participating in this year's one week camps at Gonzaga or Pacific Lutheran universities need to apply now.
The Gonzaga program runs from July 8-14 in Spokane and Pacific Lutheran health care week is August 5-11 on the campus in south Tacoma. (There is an eight-minute video produced by Coldiron Communications, Vashon Island, which give you a flavor for Health Care Week).
Washington Business Week started at the Association of Washington Business (AWB) in 1975 and AWB remains the founding sponsor. In the last 36 years, more than 50,000 students and teachers have graduated from the summer program alone. Today, 26 states and Australian have adopted the Business Week program. Washington Business Week staff runs the Alaska and Poland business week programs.
Washington Business Week is funded through voluntary contributions from AWB members, graduates, service clubs like Rotary and Kiwanis, locat chambers of commerce and other interested citizens. To contribute, log on to Washington Business Week and you can help on line.
