The Columbian on EFCA

The Columbian runs a notable editorial in today's pages denouncing the "Employee Free Choice Act," the federal "card check" legislation that would abolish the employee's free choice to vote by private ballot on whether to join a union.

All government employment laws should be crafted to protect the rights of the individual worker.

These laws should protect the worker from abuses by employers, government, other workers, and unions.

Laws that strip away the rights of workers to freedom of association are an abomination to the Constitution.
