This is not a legal opinion. It is a political opinion. The court is defending tax-eating constituencies from [Tim] Eyman, and from the voters.
In his most recent email to everyone, Tim Eyman cites proposed tax increases by the Port of Seattle and King County as evidence of local governments going on a spending spree. Neither of the news stories, however, indicates a percentage increase in property taxes. Maybe we'll get that news later.
