On the heels of this morning dispatch from the National Association of Manufacturer's ShopFloor blog, noting the alarmism coming out of national labor unions in Australia over declining membership, comes this priceless headline from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation: "Labor's IR laws will hurt WA: business group."
The lede says it all:
The West Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry says a new report shows the state's business community would suffer if Labor's industrial relations policy is implemented.
Different country, different WA, different chamber. But whether it's card check legislation, paid family leave, or union "neutrality" legislation, to name a few, the headline remains the same.
